This is how our Science Centre looks like this year!
On our working area, we have our mini microscope,
water-and-oil experiments, and a map of Singapore on the board.
Observation Log Book for free writing or drawing of ideas and
other tools such as pencils, crayons, erasers, and ruler.
We also have different kinds of clock samples
like an analog, an oil clock, and a toy clock.
In the cubby holes, we have books for
Discovery of the World such as animals and life cycles.
We also have tools such as magnifying glasses, mirrors, and binoculars.
In learning trays, we have half images for the study of symmetry,
smelling bottles for sensory exploration, and simple worksheets.
Sensory Bottles:
We just put cotton inside recycled bottles, bought scented oils from Daiso
and squeeze a little amount into each bottle.
Tadah! Instant Smelling Bottles!
We also have some twigs and leaves that we picked up during our outdoor walks which sometimes we use for determining sizes, weight, textures, etc.
