Bakery Dramatic Centre Ideas
The Bakery Dramatic Centre is a fun place where kids can pretend to be bakers, customers, or even delivery drivers! While playing, they’ll learn how to work together, share ideas, and take turns. They’ll also practice counting, measuring, and following steps to "bake" treats. This creative play helps them develop communication skills, teamwork, and understand how a bakery works, all while having fun!
Start Small Dream Big 2023
What an honor to have been a part of last year's Presidential Challenge! Looking back at the second Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project I led as a preschool teacher – "Save the Elephants!" It was such a rewarding experience. This project not only raised awareness about conservation but also allowed the children to connect with nature and learn the importance of protecting wildlife. Through fun activities and discussions, the children developed empathy, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility for the environment. It was a wonderful opportunity to foster teamwork and creativity, while helping them understand the impact they can have on the world around them. #StartSmallDreamBig2023 #ssdb #preschoolteachers #preschoollife

Farmer's Market Dramatic Centre Ideas
The Dramatic Centre in preschool is a great place for kids to use their imagination and learn new skills. It lets them pretend to be different people, like doctors, chefs, or storekeepers.
Setting up a market in the Dramatic Centre is definitely something kids get to enjoy. This will give them opportunity to act like shop owners or customers. They practice talking to each other, solving problems, and working together. Playing in this way helps them learn to talk better, share ideas, and understand how real-life situations work—all while having a lot of fun!

SCIENCE CENTRE IDEAS
Giving young children a chance to explore what they've learned in science centers or discovery spaces is really important for their growth. These fun, hands-on places help them use what they know in the real world, making them think, ask questions, and solve problems. By playing with cool activities and experiments, kids not only remember what they've learned but also start to understand the world better, sparking their curiosity to keep exploring and learning more.
